The client wanted to update the look and feel of the bathroom, which no longer matched the aesthetic of the master bedroom.
The shower, previously more enclosed and built further into the space previously was completely redone to take better advantage of the space. The enclosed area was opened up to allow more light in and also to keep steam to accumulating as it did in the past.
The claw foot bathtub was chosen to replace the previously built-in tub which made the space seem small in comparison. Combined with the tile, wall coating and vanities, this tub brings the room together, aesthetically, matching much closer to the look and feel of the master bedroom, allowing a more seamless flow between the two spaces.
